PetalumaPilotSupplies operated at the Petaluma Airport for six years providing pilot supplies and international flight planning services to the Petaluma airport community and to clients across the country. All of the assets of PetalumaPilotSupplies have been acquired by ClearLakePilotSupplies and will be offered for sale by the new firm. In addition to providing international flight planning services, ClearLakePilotSupplies offers pilot supplies including books, headsets, training materials, aircraft manuals, checklists and aviation fasteners. PetalumaPilotSupplies opened for business on August 8, 2009. PetalumaPilotSupplies has been an active sponsor of events at the Petaluma Municipal Airport including events produced by Airport Muse a firm dedicated to bringing fine art events to airports. These events include the exhibit of Casey White's Spray Paint Art, Feb 26-Mar 22, 2010, with an Opening Reception on February 26 that featured up and coming saxaphonist Marshall Farrell, a presentation by Art Hayssen about crossing the North Atlantic in a small single engine aircraft supplemented by a graphic display of the route by Stewart Munson's innovative Google Earth based aviation airspace and routing visualization system. A diverse audience of art enthusiasts, pilots, beer lovers and cheese connoisseurs attended the event.
